After supposedly fixing my laptop last week I arrived in work yesterday to find that nothing had changed. I couldn't connect to the LAN at my customer's or my company's offices. Why?, because the faulty drivers that caused the problem power the LAN socket. Our glorious IT department only cured the start-up problem and not the problem that caused it.
Therefore yesterday saw me drive from home to Stratford to Birmingham Airport to home, around trip of about 260 miles. I've almost did as many miles in 1 day as I do in a normal week. Not environmentally thoughtful I hear you say!
