Today has been spent doing all those things I should have done before. Then again maybe not....
Instead I've been watching Layer Cake, from the people who brought us Lock, Stock & Snatch. Its a chance to see Daniel Craig in a pre-Bond film. Its a more rounded performance than Munich and features a great Brit cast. You get Michael "Dumbledore" Gambon; Dexter Fltcher; Colm Meaney; Sienna Miller; the wide mouthed guy from Torchwood and the black copper from Last of the Summer Wine and Brookie.
The winner is the soundtrack. If there's one thing these guys know how to do its the compiling of a great soundtrack. The Cult, The Kylie/New Order Mix, Joe Cocker, XTC and The Rolling Stones.
So that's another off the list then. Mmmmm, what next? I ask myself. Should it be another film, a documentary or a TV series?
