Apologies to all for my lack of updating. With Christmas and feeling ill, I've not looked at the computer in over a week, well since my last post in fact.
Christmas was great. Though we've been married for 18 months it was the first that we've spent together. Last year was interrupted by First Wife's mother having her stroke and us therefore being 120 miles apart. We spent Christmas Day at my sister's, before having the evening together. As it's also my birthday that day we thought that it would be good to spend some time alone to celebrate.
Boxing Day saw the entire family descend on us. This is the first time ever that I have hosted my family in my home. Unfortunately Sad Sister was ill and couldn't attend; this was a good thing as she would have kidnapped our cats. Thankfully the day went well.
As they had come to us it meant that we finally cleared the "room of doom", assembled the new dining table and chairs, and set the new leather sofa bed up.
Wednesday was supposed to have seen us visting First Wife's family but I woke up with a cold and it was decided that I'd be best off staying at home, so wife went on her own.
New Year's Eve saw us at Sad Sister's. It was great to spend a quiet time eating, playing a 5 hour game of Monopoly and not getting home until 03:30hrs this morning.
I'd just like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope that 2007 will bring everyone happiness, joy and the blessings of God.
