Well that was a let down. It was all welcome back, we really missed you and sorry for misleading you about a disciplinary hearing. Drive down to the customer's site and away you go. Now I'm going to carry on working here until I can find something better.
Know I need to pray and think about what I want for the future. Do I want to stay in this industry? Do I want to try something else? What does God want me to do? So far I have a few conflicting thoughts but no firm lead. It'll come in time.
In other news, First Wife was very ill yesterday. No, seriously. Not a mild cough or temperature but seriously sick. It was a good job that I was turned home to look after her. She didn't get out of bed properly until about 7 in the evening. She looked like Dith warmed up!
Thankfully she seemed to be better this morning and sounded almost human when I rang at lunchtime. It doesn't help that I can't go home now until Friday. That's another reason why I need to be nearer home.
