Weekend

This weekend was both quiet and busy.

Saturday was spent relaxing and doing very little. I managed to catch up on my missed sleep, which is always a good thing. The rest of the day was spent watching TV and looking after the cats. We always enjoy the anti-worming paste that we have to give them once a month. However this month has seen all three cats prove to be very cooperative and struggling less.

Sunday was, as usual, very busy. We had chapel in the morning - FW had to do the fairtrade stall. Then it was off to celebrate Mother's XXXth birthday with the rest of the family and friends at a local golf club. Great meal!!

There was an unhappy period where Shouty Boy decided that he wanted to come and live with us. Whatever we tried to say to disaude him he managed to come up with a counter argument - if only, "don't care". We left him in tears in the car park with his dad trying to get him to his car.

After lunch we had an hour to kill before youth started. It was not enough time to go home first and then go out again. FW decided she wanted to go for a walk and I could then read the paper in peace. However it began raining enroute so we decided to go straight to chapel and have a cuppa and relax in the wing-back chairs in the foyer. Well, I relaxed with the paper; FW collapsed on the stage, then played the piano and then found a kid's praise CD that caused her much merriment.

Youth went very well with no arguments or major falling out.

The evening was spent doing as little as possible.
