Today has been a mixed bag.
This morning I attended the funeral of the lady who died from cancer. There were close on 150 people filling the church for the service. She was a very loved member of her community. It was good to see so many turn out for such a gracious and generous lady.
Her husband entered the church crying but, after the service, left. I'm sure this because of all the wonderful things said by people who loved her. Pastor Chug-a-Bug gave a very good account of Melva and what she meant to so many different people and how, even after her diagnosis, the way her faith held her and supported her through everything.
She was living proof of the way your faith can be an example to others.
I'm now working from home. After a funeral I love to put on music that'll support my mood. So I've been listening to Bobby Darin, Marillion, Pink Floydand I'll have some AC/DC and Yes on later.
Its also good that I'm home as FW's christmas present arrived this morning. I'm looking forward to seeing her face when she opens it tonight.
