We have decided on our first holiday for this year. We will be joining the MX5 South Wales Owner's Club on an excursion to Amsterdam. We drive to Amsterdam and then stop over in Lille on the way home.
I'm looking forward to this as I once had a day in Amsterdam on business. I flew in on the first flight from London and home on the last flight. My business took an hour and then I had the rest of the day to wonader and sightsee.
Can you believe that I was actually unable to find the red light district? I found the Anne Frank House, the Concertgebouw, the Dam, even The Doors Cafe and a Hendrix cafe but no red light district. Not that there would have been much to see in the daytime I expect.
We're really looking forward to taking Magda under the Channel.
Oh yes, there is snow here too.
