Sorry if people were expecting another kind of announcement. I wanted to allay any thoughts of that. That one will not happen.
Well we have made a decision on our future worship. To save us choosing between 2 equally good chapels, that between them meet all our needs, we decided to attend both. That is the good thing about one having only a morning service and one having two.
We also discovered another new delight. We don't have to do anything on a Sunday that we don't want to. We have no current commitments on our time and can therefore worship because we want to and not feel that we HAVE to attend. There is also a third chapel that has a third service that is for the more modern form of worship with clangy, bangy, thumpy and squealy sounds. That give us a third option for attendance as and when the mood requires.
I'm quite looking forward to having some time to worship without having to worry about rushing about to attend other meetings later. A few months of rest and relaxation is a good thing and what I think God wants of us for now.
