I finally got rid of the engine for the French late yesterday. The most laughable part was when I had a telephone call asking me to provide the aircraft's navigator with his flight plan for the flight from Stansted to France and then onto Tadjikistan.

For those who are protsting against the war in Afghanistan, I have to hold my hand up and say that I've contributed to its promalgation by my actions this weekend.

To those in the French, Canadian, British and US forces - carry on guys! Do your best to make the country more secure and to help to improve the lives of the locals.

To the politicians - do the right thing and provide the troops with the equipment they need and actually fulfill your promises to assist the locals with the redevelopment that you promise and continually fail to deliver.
