Days of Future Present Past

Today has been a good day, so far. Lots of frustrating events from the past few days have resolved themselves as people realise that not only do I know how to do my job, they don't. This would normally give high levels of smugness but I can't be bothered with that.

I also heard from a friend in London. He and his wife work with families who have a child with autism. They have been advised that they can now become a registered charity and are applying as we speak, write, read or whatever. Previously the Charity Commission, who control UK charities, had told them that they could only be a "not for profit" company. It's good to see that their work is being rewarded.

I'm also seriously considering my own future and asking God what he wants to do with me. I've always sensed that He had a plan but never seemed to know exactly what it would be. My mind has gone off in hopeful tangents but they never seem to be the right path at that time. Hopefully everything will be revealed in due course.

All I know is that I don't want to carry on doing what I am now for the next 20 odd years.
