I had some work to do today. Woo! Hoo! Now its done I still have several hours with nothing to do.

Tum, dum, tee, dum.

Did anyone see the article regarding Oxford students being "fined" by their colleges for illegally celebrating their final exams? It seems that over exuberent activities such as foaming each other, jumping off bridges and other such malarky are "frowned" on by the powers that be.

As such the Profs have got wise and started checking students' Facebook sites for pics to use as evidence. Then they are calling in the students and fining them for breach of college rules.

Employers are also checking applicant's Facebook profiles and using them to decide on suitability for their new position. One was turned down because they had written disparaging comments about former employers and another because of his "hobbies". I think that "blowing grass with my homies" and "capping (shooting) whitie" would preclude anyone from employment.

Yet I fail to understand how this happens. You can't access someone's profile unless that have given permission and linked to you as a friend. Mind you I may have that wrong, as I'm not that interested in looking at profiles for people I don't know.

So remember, if you post on Facebook you never know who is looking.....
