There are rumours afoot that Mr Tennant will be departing Dr Who at the end of the next series, as will the producer Russell T Davies.
Reports today say that Davies will be replaced by Steven Moffat, writer of Jekyll, and that the favourite to replace Tennant is James Nesbitt, star of Jekyll.
