Thanks to Lanark for the wood explanation. Even people like me, with brains the size of a very large universe, learn something new every now and then.
Last night saw us driving to Swansea to attend Alice's "Surprise" 30th birthday party. I must say that at one stage we thought that we'd miss a lot of it as the M4 was very congested and almost non-moving for about 5 miles. Make we did though.
I was intrigued that many people wanted multiple pictures of my hand(s) at various points throughout the evening. I keep telling people that I retain all rights to my image and that my lawyers are very hot on this sort of abuse. Thankfully a quick trawl around the web revealed no new infringements of my writ.
I also need to apologise for lying to someone; I do NOT have an old "war wound". I just hate dancing and need to be well lubricated before entering into such an ungodly act of sin and debauchery. If I'm not going to dance with my own wife then what chance does anyone else, no matter how winsome, have?
