Today was my last but one day in my job. I have to go back to Shipston on Thursday to handover and that is it. I then have 3 weeks paid leave until I start my new job in Bridgend. To say I'm looking forward to it is an understatement.
I'll still be working in the logistics field (sea, air and ground transport) but for a different company, smaller and more personable. As well as being in the office I'll also be doing some sales work as well, so a more involved job.
I was sorry to say goodbye to everyone, except my boss, at my office today (after 7 years with the company); it'll be more emotional to leave my customer, especially as I've been there almost everyday for 4 years. However being able to come home every night will defibnitely be a very big bonus, though FW may not think that after a few weeks.
Now I just need to tell my customer in Ireland.
