We have had a slight problem with our computer. We came home on Saturday night to find Best Man sitting in front of the screen with the computer opened in Safe Mode. It appears that something has interrupted the boot-up sequence and we can only open in safe mode - 1 attempt in 3.
Friday saw us celebrating Best Man's birthday by taking him out for a meal. He then stayed over until yesterday. Unfortunately we had to leave him alone on saturday as we were going to see Newbridge v Pontypool in the cup. I'm glad we didn't miss it as it was a very exciting but nevre shredding experience - we managed to win by 1 point. The last 10 minutes were especially worrying as Newbridge mounted attack after attack on our line. Thankfully they missed a penalty and a conversion in the last 5 minutes.
The evening saw us descending on Cardiff. I hadn't told FW but it had been arranged to meet some of her friends from Swansea for a belated birthday meal. She had no idea what was happening and was a very happy and smiling girl when she eventually saw them. We had a great meal and much laughter - always a good combination.
Yesterday was a horrible day weatherwise. Apart from chapel and taking Best Man home, we decided not to move out of the house. The cats were very confused. Che would sit in the open patio door and watch the rain; then he'd look up as if to ask why you didn't turn it off so he could go out. We had three very stir crazy cats to deal with yesterday.
