Lying in bed coughing and sniffing while your other half is coughing and hacking and sniffing and tossing and turning and generally keeping you awake. That's why it has been rather quite for the last few days - we're not well you know.

Even though she was ill FW still managed to do a few hours at job no. 2. A colleague called yesterday to say that they needed cover as she had been "sick all over the office". So, as ill as she was, FW went and did a few hours until the nightshift came in.

I managed to stay home, lie on the sofa and watch the rugby and Rob Roy - I'm not well you know. I thought I was over the worst of it until about 3 o'clock this morning when it all came back. I'm much better than FW though - who is still hacking and coughing upstairs, while I endure recuperative West Ham.
