As many of you know I am a rather opinionated person. Personally I think of myself as a right thinking individual and that the rest of mankind is out of step with me. For those of you who wish to be rude here, please do so. I know who you are and where you live....
I got home tonight to find a message on my phone from a reporter from Wales This Week. I had written a comment on the local rags website berating the destruction of our local playing fields. Our local Comp. closed last summer and the council are now selling the playing fields so that houses can be built on them. They're also going to be knocking down the school to make way for.... more houses.
Now the government are supposedly against the destruction of our playing fields. However they have been responsible for the decline in their provision for the last 10 years - more than any other government before them. At the same time they insist that children should do more exercise to overcome the obesity problem that we have. Do you a contradiction here?
So I suppose I'll call him back later and find out what he wants from me. I could even be persauded to appear on TV as an angry resident.
