Yes, I'm still suffering from preacher's block. There are thoughts floating around but, at present, they refuse to come out. Everything rests on tomorrow morning and evening. I'll be having the afternoon off to watch the rugby.

I was very shocked yesterday at the awful comments that have stolen the news headlines..... Why exactly do the Premier League feel the need to play matches abroad? Is it really a great advert for the game that people could see matches, such as Fulham v Derby or Birmingham v Bolton? I mean many of them may not have seen a football match before and they get to see a boring, mediocre 0-0 draw.

How would 40,000 Americans manage to set still for 45 minutes at a time without the breaks in play to enable them to go and get a few hundred burgers and gigantic cartons of weak beer? What about the British fans? Are we expected to fly off to Shanghai or Alice Springs (Hi Yay!) to watch a match. Don't be fooled there are many fans who would do that.

Oh yes!!

In other news, some bloke in a dress, purporting to be a religious leader, said something about Muslim law but I don't think anyone noticed....
