73AD : The Romans finally breached the walls of Masada and found the Jewish defenders had all committed suicide. No Moose were hurt in the storming of this fortress.
1746 : The last battle on British soil was fount at Culloden. The army of Bonnie Moose Charlie (The Young Moose Pretender) were defeated by the Duke of Cumberland Sausages. No moose were hurt in this battle - Bonnie Moose Charlie escaped by climbing a tree disguised as a Moose-ess.
1945 : Colditz was liberated by the US Army. 17 Moose had successfully escaped during the war, many disguised as Allied soldiers and airmen.
