Sorry I haven't been around but Microsoft had screwed up our system with an update that killed IE and I had to find a copy of Firefox. I hate MS and there ineptitude to issue working software.
Today I have been to Leicester (sorry LIESESTER for my American readers) and back for a surprise for the nephews. Pssst!!!! don't tell them though....... That is when their dad, and them, finish emptying the garage.
The weekend was spoilt by having to go into work on Saturday morning for 3 hours and then going back last night to sign an urgent document for the Germans. In between we managed to have a nice lunch in a cafe in Blaenavon and look round the model rail shop opposite on Saturday and then visit the beer festival at the railway on Sunday - a serious non event there.
On Saturday night I had a text to tell me that one of my oldest friends (as in someone I grew up with) has gone into hospital for a brain scan as she is having really bad headaches. It's difficult to contact someone when you don't know where they are and yo live 100 miles away. Too top it off it's her birthday on Friday.
