I am now the proud owner of an Unlimited Card.
Having only been to the cinema 5 or 6 times in the past 20 years, I decided to take the plunge.
So far, since 17th July I have seen:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (x3)
Die Hard 4 (x2)
Evan Almighty (x2)
Pirates of the Caribean at the worlds end (x1)
Surfs Up (x1)
and today, I am off to see Rush Hour 3

Hmm, me thinks I am going to be all cinema'd out by the end of 12 months.

I also spent a week at Keswick working at the convention - amazing, everywhere you go in that town you look up and see the hills rising up above the rooftops.
Between shifts I did manage to drag 3 of my colleauges up Latrig (they only realised there was a footpath after we had reached the top - hehehe) and a boat trip on Derwent Water.
There were some smashing folk on our team, more people to keep in touch with - and one or two of them not PC Compatable. That will mean dusting out the old Quill Pen and give me the chance to re practice the art of Calligraphy.

Earlier this week spent a wonderfull day with MrsGnome in Ely, seeing the sights by boat, walking through the countryside, drinking a draught at the local Ale House topped off with EvenSong sung by a Canadian Choir at Ely Cathedral.
Next week I am off Youth Hostelling on my bike - hehe, I booked the hostel and THEN looked at access, 1 bus a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me the chance to prove I can live out my panniers (and they are still in the shop not having been bought yet.)
