I do not expect, when having folk to stay, to receive a present. Sometimes however a present does arrive just as they are leaving.
I must say a huge thankyou to our friends who gave us two rose bushes some 20 years ago. The pleasure it has given us over the years has been great, and we always remember the family when we are admiring the blooms. This picture taken just a few minutes ago shows a rose coloured orange and pink - yet all the other roses on this bush are white.
