...for local people. Maybe you can strain some things too far. By way of explanation, C (husband) and I have just moved out from the middle of Manchester (all concrete and dark satanic mills) to Royston Vasey (all hills and, well, a few mills), hence the title of this wiblog. Yes, I do mean Royston Vasey, complete with butchers shop. The move was prompted by a lack of space, so now we are the proud owners of a two-and-a-half bedroom 100-year-old stone terrace, with garden (this is important, see below), in need of decoration, new wiring and general tlc.
Whilst considering the thought of imminent relocation, in September we paid a visit to the Centre for Alternative Technology in mid-Wales, a very stimulating experience. Following this we added a garden to the list of 'things we must have in our new house', quite a challenge as most houses in Royston have shared communal yards. What with this, various commands in the Bible to look after the earth and an increasing awareness that we are getting older and therefore need to take exercise, we have been inspired (hmmm) to do our bit for the planet, and are now attempting to 'green' our lives and home. We thought you might like to join us on our journey into the uncharted waters of: organic gardening. Yes, we are mad, and yes, we both work, and yes, the weather is atrocious up here.
By the way, if anyone knows anything about Christian mission to Muslims I'd love to hear from you...
