but I am in a kind of garden despair. Three weeks without attention and with, by all accounts, lots of rain, have made the garden look more like a jungle. Every time I go outside I am overcome by despondency and find I have no energy to tackle it. So I am re-reading lots of gardening books for inspiration. Well, the weather hasn't really been up for gardening, so if in doubt, read a book I say.
On a more positive note, our time away was challenging, inspiring, and good fun. We met lots of people and went to lots of churches and ate lots of rice. It was also warm and sunny most of the time - worth going just for that at the moment. I haven't really got my head around the trip yet, will need a bit longer I think before it sinks in. Would love to go back though.
