We have today been added to the number of those boroughs with kerbside recycling schemes. Our green box came today together with two bags and several leaflets. Are we the last borough in England to get this service? Are there other areas that haven't yet reached these pinnacles of recycling excellence? Come on, name and shame your council if they don't do kerbside recycling in your area!
Interestingly we are allowed to opt out and return our green box if we don't wish to participate. I think it should be compulsory if we are ever to do something about landfill sites. And we still have a weekly wheelie bin collection.
