Did you see this event on the news? It was fantastic! Two coach loads of campaigners went all the way down from here and we had a great time staying up all night and protesting against trade injustice. Though I have to say we felt a little the worse for wear by the time we got home on Saturday - too old to be staying up all night these days.
The garden is wet at the moment though we are expecting drier weather by the end of the week. I have sown most things now, quite a few in modules, and most are sprouting too. The first signs of spring are always the most exciting and seeds germinating are a thrill every time - the miracle of nature.
We are also starting to be able to compare the garden now with pictures from last year - some bits are better, others worse, and still lots to be done. The cherry tree blossom is as good as last year though the background is completely different, no broken down garage and wild hedge now, just a neat fence and shed. Hopefully by this time next year it will look different again!
