Get knitted...

I used to have a life, and time to get on the computer. Now I just fall asleep exhausted when Bean goes to bed...

For the record (and I know it was a long time ago now) doing greenbelt with a nine month old Bean was fine, just a little more bending down than usual. We would like to say a particular thank you to the lovely people in the sharks group at the creche (and who also filled baby baths with lovely hot water in the evenings), it was very much appreciated, and I'm sure Bean much preferred playing with you lot and the toys than stuck in a pushchair with us. It was odd though to have time to ourselves together, we ended up wandering around thinking now what do we do?

I am currently stuck on a craze for knitting, inspired by the bamphires' mother last year and its now really taken off. For some reason I'm dying to try socks, but the thick woolly winter-evenings-in-front-of-the-fire kind not thin ones. Will keep trying to find a pattern (and cheap wool!). I think I was inspired by the nice rainbow Nepali socks purchased this year at greenbelt and that kept my feet toasty warm all weekend. The knitting magazine I get (I know, very sad) has a competition running at the moment to design a pair of socks for a famous person, real or fictional - I must get my thinking cap on as my mind has now gone blank. Any ideas anyone??
