Bean had her first birthday just before Christmas. Wow, a whole year - can't believe it! (yes, I know, i'll be saying that every year.) We had a small party for her (small because all her little friends were visiting relatives/going to the panto, it being 9 days before Christmas) which was fun and very chaotic. Lots of wrapping paper everywhere, i'm sure you can imagine it: four babies, eight adults, a Christmas tree and (just) a few presents in a small living room.
Then off to see the bamphires for Christmas where we had a lovely time, and Bean decided that sleeping at night wasn't cool. Sorry guys.
I'm knitting a jumper (for ME!) at the moment - all their fault too. see, i go to glasgow knitting hats, and come back knitting jumpers! so far i have done one and a half sleeves. keeps me occupied in those rare moments when i have nothing else to do. if i can work out how to do it i'll post a piccie of it when its finished.
Otherwise all well here, back to relative normality and the usual round of toddlers, appointments etc.
PS I'm joining the bamphire mother in a new years resolution to blog more often, and am hoping that the advent of the computer in the living room means it might actually happen (as long as i can keep the keyboard out of Bean's way, she loves pressing the keys. actually, maybe she should write the blog instead.)
