Day out.

Yesterday I had a day out with some "nutters from the internet." Also known to some of you as shipmates. It was nice to get away for the day, and not think about placement or study, with people on the same wave length as me. I knew I was in for a good day when I was picked up, by people who thought that it was a good idea to sing along to Kirsty MacColl. We then met up with others for a quick picnic before a boat trip out to Inchcolm Island. Lovely to chat to people. We then had a wander round the Island, again a chance to chat to people. I also got to do some exploring including to the top of the tower with a 5 year old. Children that age in relatively small doses relax me, especially when you know that you are not responsible for them and can hand them back at anytime! A boat ride back, then more nattering while eating ice-cream. All in all, just what i needed to relax me, and remember the world of good things, and that there is more to life than study/placement.
