Essays and Heroes.

I've just finished writing an essay for Uni that I really struggled with, it's still not very good and I wouldn't be surprised if I had to re-submit it, but at least it is finished. Pushing through to do it was a struggle. I'll admit that I wasn't that interested in the subject, and I'm on placement at the moment so busy with other study. To keep me going I set a picture of one of my heroes as my facebook profile picture. 
It's Johnny Hoogerland who is a cyclist. The photo is from the day he had a very serious crash, but carried on to the end, against what should have been impossible odds. It reminds me on days when life seems to be an impossible struggle to keep going, and not to let things defeat me. (When it comes to life at the moment it's not letting my dyslexia make me give up when I'm tired from placement and study.) Having a hero to inspire you can give you that extra nudge you need.
