'It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer'. - Albert Einstein. One of our lectures likes to give us random quotes at the start of the notes she gives us. I feel that I may be returning to this quote lots. At the moment I am really struggling to work out if I am coming or going. I know that the course is organised the way it is for a reason, but it doesn’t stop me getting confused. We have a time table that is different every week, with other arching modules with like sub sessions within them. Also working out the study I need to do outside of class is complicated, and I don’t just mean in a you’re functioning at masters level we will just give less guidance on what to read within books, but in a the ways we are told what to look at way. Some of the lectures during the class will highlight things we should read, others will send out e-mails in advance, while others put it on the VLE (virtual learning environment) which each lecturer seems to use differently, and each subject has their own area on it. Just the trying to keep up with the different ways that we get given information on what we are doing is causing me problems, my organisational skills are not great at the best of time, but it feels like it is deliberately confusing! I’m sticking with it at the moment but feel like a swan, graceful on the surface but paddling like mad under the water to stay afloat!
