Day 2 of the 7 virtues blog challenge.
Just one more wouldn’t matter he thought as he poured the amber nectar over the ice in the beautiful crystal glass. Sipping it he relaxed, grateful as he always was to have made it to the end of the day. Since that day he lived in fear, fear of who would point the finger at him, fear of would there be that dreaded knock on the door. Would the monster that was in him be exposed to the public? He knew how to keep that monster at bay, but that didn’t stop him from taking another gulp of that precious amber liquid.
