I believe

I believe in an amazing God, who chooses to have a relationship with humans. A God who is beyond our imagination, who we can only understand a small amount of no matter how much we try. I believe in a God who with a single word can still storms. But I also believe in a God who doesn’t always still the storms even when we can’t understand why. I believe in a God who loves us so much that while he will show us what is best he will let us make our own mistakes and still be there for us, to hold and comfort us. I believe in a God that is constantly surprising me and who their is constantly new things to find out about. I believe in a God who can not be defined in simple black and white terms, but who works in a multitude of colours. Who paints in colours that we sometimes can’t define, no matter how hard we try, a God who paints in colours that change in different lights. A God who is patient when we see a small glimpse of the beauty of him, of the magnificence of the colours he uses, and just loves us when we say "quick I must have a photo" and take a photo in black and white, and then look at the photo and think we know more about God because of the photo. I believe in A God who is patient enough to keep showing us the colours he works in no matter how much we try to make those colours black and white.
