Snow and Life

I love snow, spend most of the winter wanting it, get ridiculously excited at a few flakes. I’m worst than a child, I love it. But my attitude to snow, actually reflects what mine and others attitude to life can be. While I love snow, if we have it for more than a couple of days it gives me migraines. I can delay the migraines by always remembering to wear sunglasses, even just to look out the window. I realised that we are often really like this with life. We want something, which we think we love, and for the first few days we do enjoy it, but then all the bad things about it kick in, and we remember why it wasn’t a good idea. Maybe I’m trying to say we should think through what we want more, and think about the long term.

(For anyone who knows me, you don’t need to panic this reflection was prompted by a few flakes of snow rather than wanting something specific!!)
