Neil's comment about his housemate texting to say he couldn't find his phone (no, still haven't figured out how that works) reminded me of an announcement I heard on a boat while coming back from holiday many years ago. Over the tannoy, a man trying not to laugh said, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. A hearing aid has been found on the lower deck, if this belongs to you please come and collect it from the office."
I wonder if its owner ever reclaimed it...
