Apologies for not updating you sooner on my back to work adventure, the last couple of days have been quite manic. Here, in a nutshell, is how it's all gone:
THURSDAY:
First couple of hours - lovely being back.
Next hour and a bit - quite nice.
The following few hours - horrifically uncomfortable and painful.
Last couple of hours - a bit better.
FRIDAY:
First hour - difficult but ultimately rewarding, sorting out the bad stuff from Thursday.
Remainder of the day - really nice.
So there you go - it's not been without pain and difficulty, but I'm back and already starting to feel settled again. Which is always nice.
In other news, I thought I saw Andrew Flintoff in Sainsbury's today. Then I figured he'll be in Australia now, so it probably wasn't him after all...
