It would appear I have been underpaid by my work, and they have remedied this by giving me back about £3500. This is brilliant, as I've been struggling to sort my finances out for a while, and to have a bit of a base to start from would be a huge help. What an answer to prayer!!
...at least, it was, until I woke up. Bugger.
