This morning I sent off the application form for my trainee licence. I also applied to rejoin the Driving Instructors Democratic Union. As this is a subsidiary of the T&G, and I have continued my membership of said union for the last year, it seems I'm eligible to rejoin immediately without having to wait for my licence to become valid.
Most important of all, I've ordered my car. It's a silver Renault Clio. I have to go to Southampton to collect it on 3rd March. All I need to do now is send back the acceptance form along with a £99 deposit and the car will be ready and waiting for me.
