Ya can't beat it!

I'm still on holiday, but what made the start of the day even better was that the missus had to get up early for work. I didn't. I stayed in bed. She got up early for work. I didn''t. While she was on the train, I was lying in bed, half asleep, half listening to Radio 4. Well for 10 minutes anyway. After thay I went back to sleep.

(Are you reading this, my beloved? While you were working, I was still in bed. Hahahahaha)

A nondescrpt morning was folloewed by a solitary walk around Norwood Cemetary. That's not as morbid as it may sound. Norwood Cemetary is one pf those few places in Lomdon where you can totally lose yourself and completely forget you're in London. On the way home, I juat happened to be passing "The Hope". Actually, that's not true at all. I didn't pass it at all. I went in there and had a brilliant lunch break. (Break from what? I hear you cry. Well. a break from nothing as I'm on holiday)

The Hope is a great little pub. It's about 10 minutes walk from our new home. It sereves Young's beer and is an all round good friendly local.

After that, I went home. I was first in, but I knew that the beloved would be home soon after, so I rehearsed acting sober. I think it worked. It may not have done, and the beloved will soon be starting her own wibblog, so you can judge for yourselves if my acting was good enough.

Anyway, it's New Year's Eve. The Beloved and I are going to our favoutite Greek restaurant tonight to see in the New Year.

2004 hasn't been so bad. Certainly not as bad as 2003. At least we've got the Bailiffs off our backs now.

Here's to 2005! Here's to Spike finally qualifying as a Driving Unstructor!
