Writing a book...

Is much more difficult that it seems.

About a month ago I contacted Jonny Baker about the Unusual Suspects project. It's basically a chance for under 25's to get published, and I was pointed towards it by Sue Wallace. I thought it would be some of my stuff either on a web page or as part of a book. It's not. It's a whole book. I've had to choose binding, layout and everything. And it's actually really hard.

At the moment I've got 35 pages of prayers, some of which have a little introduction, some of which don't. All of them need something. Some of them are group prayers, some are personal, some are poems, some are services. I don't know what's sutible, I don't know what's not, I don't know ANYTHING!

I'm trying not to get to stressy about it, but it's kinda hard. I've got so many little bits of writing in so many different places - some of it has been published, some of it hasn't - and I've got to collate it and organise it, and basically make it into a book.

It's exciting, scary and bloody hard work!
