Well, my hamsters were named Jessi (the brown one) and Emily (the white one). And all was well for several weeks.
Until late one night just over a week ago, when i suddenly noticed that Emily, was not, in fact a girl. Well, that's not true, I worked out that she either had a tumour or was a he. She was most definatly a he.
Which means that I've now got one male hamster (as yet unnamed) and one female hamster.
In the same cage.
Which means........that somewhere along the line I'll get more ickle baby hamsters!
Which would be absolutely wonderful! Apart from one small fact. Greenbelt. In 27 days i go to greenbelt. hamster pregnancies are about 19 - 25 days long which means i could have babies by greenbelt, and once i have babies i can't move the cage, and i won't be there to look after them cos i'll be at greenbelt, and i can't not be at greenbelt cos i'm venuemanageing...
so it's all very confuinsing.
but hamster babies would be cute...
(i wouldn't mind if they stopped scrapping...appearntly one of the signs that jessi is pregnant is that she fights a lot. - eeeek!)
