Thursday...

Most time on thursday was spent in a van, travelling down from York to Cheltenham. Boring...

Until we were nearly there...when I started getting a bit excited...And then we arrived!!!!!!!!!!

We got to our venue and started to unload the van, which is always fun...lugging stuff from the van to dump it on the floor of the venue and somehow create an alt worship set up out of the chaos before us. I did some slide projectors, cos i can understand them...As I was a Venue Manager I was given a badge. i liked this a lot, it made me feel important :D

That night I pitched my tent with Visions, in what was probably the alt. worship area of the campsite, Grace and Moot were over the road, and Sanctus were round the corner. Whilst cooking tea I realised that I'd forgotten several things...like Matches, waterproofs, and a torch. So I borrowed some matches off Jonny Baker (after finding out that lighting a trangia with a lighter doesn't work...and burns your fingers) and cooked spaggetti on toast in the half light.

Friday

Friday Morning was spent in the Venue, doing a ffew more bits of set up, chatting, having a venue managers meeting...and then I went in to town to meet my aunt and cousin for lunch, and had some pizza. Mmmm. Then I moved tents (carrying a blooming heavy bag) from the visions campsite to the ship campsite, which was convinently situated as far from the village as possible. Yay. (no hard feelings, honest). I then made a second trip with my tent, and ran off to a service planning meeting after conning some wonderful people into putting up my tent for me! Service plannning meeting went great, and then I migrated to the pub to meet up with shippy people. More fun!

I'm not sure what happned after that. No alcohol was involved (not that I drunk anyway) but I have a complete blank on Friday night...I might have gone to a service or something...
