And now it's over...

I didn't go to the press, because I couldn't speak to anyone in charge of the bookshop. Part of me now wishes I hadn't been polite and had just gone for it, and involved the press and caused a big stink- but then I wonder what the point would have been.

The posters have been removed, the person who sold the tickets and called me an extremist has been 'reprimanded' so I guess my one woman crusade worked.

I do wonder what will happen to the tickets though, they'll probably be sold to someone else...but I guess my conscience can be appeased in the fact that I have done something.

I spent this afternoon with a friend planning action type stuff, trying to get hold of someone who could phone up the guy who was selling the tickets and be a bit more authoritive than I was, but we failed. It was a fun afternoon though. I couldn't help wishing that my normal partners in crime, Graham and Rachel were around - it would have been great fun with them...

My next job is make a "Make Poverty History" t-shirt for Edinburgh - I may put a photo up once I've finished it if I ever get the darn thing finished. Then off to Edinburgh to save the world......
