Tuesday 21st October

OK. We're in! 450 miles North(ish) & some things haven't changed - the bamphires still squabble over lego towers/magic wands, & R still refers to D as 'her Bullseye' (Toy Story II)

However, R won't be going to school now until August next year (Noooooo!) so we're seeing if local nurseries have any spaces. Or at least we will be when a list of them turns up. 3 days in, & R has lost her cup already - at a garage in East Kilbride - guess where I'll be tomorrow then!

Tomorrow is the 'Toddler Group' at the church we went to on Sunday. All I have to do is find it again, and we'll be OK. For those who care, we have already found the local duck pond and playground (and sweetshop) and we will venture into the city on the train soon.

Thanks for the typing up of this log go to lovely Lemly, as we have no phone line, broadband connection or Sky TV (oh no! It's the dark ages!) So any missspelings, badly grammar or subliminal messages you can blame on her (or possibly Rhys?) Cheers guys. We miss you!

Oh, and belated birthday greetings to Auntie Nikki for yesterday (Monday) - and you thought I'd forgotten!

[ed - this came through the post this morning, 5th November, not sure wheter to blame postal strikes or Soo having to find the postbox, but it was typed up as soon as it got here - honest guv.]
