and they seem to love it.
Took mine and 2 friends to the library today. There is a summer promotion on which means if you borrow 6 books you get a free dvd or video rental. I ended up carrying a lot of books back, but it was worth it to see 4 kids absorbed in something I enjoyed at their age. Too many of my favourites aren't as good when re-watched.
One other thing. I realise this is a very anorak-type thing to do, but I have a gripe about Lost (the series). Not so much about the programme, more about the people who write on websites about what the hieroglyphics mean when they have absolutely no clue how to read them. Having a degree partially based on the subject, and not having previously found a use for it, it was infuriating to have to read stuff about how as it included a vulture which drops rocks on its prey, the word/phrase could include 'dropping'. RUBBISH. I realise it has been a few years (!) since I last studied the stupid things, but I had great fun last night looking them up. My best interpretation of them (if you're still reading well done!) is 'bring about death'. as 2 words, but i'll not bother typing them here. If anyone cares for an explanation I can go into detail, but I shan't bore you with it now.
