Well, tomorrow to celebrate R's birthday on Monday she and I are flying south to visit Lemly (amongst others). Slightly nervous as I haven't flown since my Mum was in charge of tickets, etc., but R is excited and as I have checked in, it's a tad late to turn back. Not that I would - I'm looking forward to seeing the place again.
My toiletries are in a resealable plastic bag, my hand luggage is within the requisite 55 x 40 x 20cm (as long as the contents don't sink to the bottom) and I have my photographic id which I am assured is enough to get us both on the plane.
Here's hoping for calm weather, no traffic on motorways 8 or 4, and a relaxed 6 year-old!
