Ok, so yesterday I was very busy (until about 10am). I did 2 loads of washing, including the delicate 'dry clean only' bridesmaid's dress (soaked overnight, rinsed under shower). Hung this all on the line - nearly filled it, certainly made it too heavy to turn - and still had 11 pegs left over! This may not sound very exciting, but I recently bought another pack of pegs as I was always running out of them before clothes....
Anyway, while I was doing this, the bamphires came and joined me. Now there is a sandpit in our garden, the portable kind on legs, with a cover to stop the sand getting wet in the (frequent) rain. Unfortunately, the cover collects rain rather well. Add to this the amount of soil hanging around our garden in pots and growbags, and I'm sure you realise this water is not clean. D loves it. I'd put wellies on him before they came out as the grass is a bit long, and thus rather wet. He had a fantastic time playing in the deep water on the sandpit, trying to splash his sister while she ran away squeaking.
Rather a shame he was wearing his last pair of clean, dry, right-size trousers really...
