Poor lamb

My Smudgelet is a poorly boy. I hate it when he's ill... not least because he's such a "man" about it! But seriously it's hard to watch him look so poorly and feel so miserable and not be able to do much to make it better. Eleven children in his class have gone down with this bug - sore throat, cough, headache, temperature and tummy ache..... and apparently the next stage is sickness. Oh great! An interesting juggling act keeping the two boys apart as much as possible tonight as knowing my luck Tiddles will go down with it just as Smudgelet is getting better and that'll be the Easter holidays gone. And I shall definitely have to keep Dad clear.... and I wonder how long it will take my little man to notice I too am keeping him at arm's length! Now, where did I put my Florence Nightingale hat? Thank you M for doing a tour of the Island supermarkets in search of Junior Nurofen for us.

It's a shame that I won't be able to go and see Tiddles in action tomorrow. I have had to call in reinforcements and get a friend to take him to the Cyclist of the Year contest. I made sure the friend had agreed to do the transporting before I dropped the bombshell that they have to be there by 8.45 at the latest!!! I'll face the problem of getting him home when I come to it. Hmmm...... could he cycle? ;-)
