The boys have been doing sterling work in their collection of sponsor money. I now have no excuse - they insist I keep to my side of the bargain and do the ride. Hmmm..... What's more, they've even made me buy a bike and a bright red helmet. Bother - this means I'll be forced finally to do that bike ride along the river I'd been promising to do for the last five years....when I got my old bike fixed.
At this rate I'll either be fit or dead by the end of the summer.
