We got the results of the "name the historical artefact" competition. We didn't win. We got 15 out of 30, which I thought was rather good really. We didn't manage to identify the wax mould for an iron age axe, or the modesty "vest" which was a piece of lace for slipping into the cleavage of a dress if it was thought immodestly lowcut, or the scissors for snipping off a piece of sugar from a sugar cone - but we got loads of other things right, or nearly right.
And I'm going to be a great-aunt again, God willing. :D
